Command 51
Command 51 is a 2021 Chevy Tahoe and is staffed by the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief and the two Assistant Fire Chiefs on a rotating weekly basis. This unit has the capability of carrying up to 5 personnel and carries an assortment of incident command equipment.
Squad 51
Squad 51 is a 2015 Rosenbauer Commander. This unit is the first run apparatus for any structure related fires as well as gas leaks and vehicle fires. This unit carries 7 personnel as well as an assortment of structural firefighting equipment, atmospheric monitoring equipment and rescue equipment. This unit holds 1,250 gallons of water, 50 gallons of Class A foam, 50 gallons of Class B foam and has a 2000 GPM Hale pump.
Engine 51
Engine 51 is a 2006 KME Predator. This unit is the first run apparatus for any rescue related emergencies. This unit carries 7 personnel as well as an assortment of structural firefighting equipment, atmospheric monitoring equipment and rescue equipment. This unit holds 1,000 gallons of water and has a 1250 GPM Hale pump.
Tanker 51
Tanker 51 is a 2015 Rosenbauer Commander. This unit is the second run apparatus for any structure related fires as well as gas leaks and vehicle fires. This unit carries 6 personnel as well as an assortment of structural firefighting equipment, atmospheric monitoring equipment and water supply equipment. This unit holds 3,500 gallons of water and has a 2000 GPM Hale pump.
Rescue 51
Rescue 51 is a 2001 Pierce Quantum. This unit is the second run apparatus for any rescue related emergencies and also responds as the rescue company on both first due and mutual aid structure fires. This unit carries 11 personnel as well as an assortment of structural firefighting equipment, atmospheric monitoring equipment, salvage equipment and hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic rescue equipment. This unit also has the capabilities of refilling SCBA bottles via a cascade system and can operate as a mobile command center.
Brush 51
Brush 51 is a 2018 Dodge Ram and is the first run apparatus to any brush related fires. This unit carries up to 5 personnel and an assortment of brush firefighting equipment. This unit holds 200 gallons of water, 5 gallons of Class A foam and has a 120 GPM Darley & Davey pump.
Gator 51
Gator 51 is a 2018 John Deere Gator. This unit can carry 2 personnel and responds to extended brush fire related emergencies and carries the related equipment. This unit also has the capabilities of carrying EMS equipment and is also utilized for wildland rescues. Gator 51 carries 50 gallon of water and has a 95 GPM Darley & Davey pump.
Utility 51
Utility 51 is a 2006 Ford F-350. This unit can carry 5 personnel and responds to emergencies in which manpower of equipment is needed to be carried to or from a scene.
Air & Light 51
Air & Light 51 is a 2007 Ford F-550 with a Pierce Contender body. This unit is a part of the Kent County Special Operations Team and responds to such emergencies. This unit can carry 2 personnel and has an assortment of Air, Light and Rehab equipment. This unit has also been outfitted to support dive operations if needed.
Ambulance B-51
2011 Ford F-350 with a Horton Box. Contains all State of DE required BLS equipment as well as the Lucas 2 CPR assist device. This unit also contains the Power Load Stretcher
Ambulance A-51
A-51 is a 2018 Ford F-550 Ambulance. This unit carries all of the required BLS equipment required by the State of Delaware OEMS.
Van 51-8
Van 51-8 is a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan SE that can carry up to 7 personnel. This unit is utilized to assist members with transportation to fire company related banquets, parades, meetings etc.
