MVC Rollover Vs. Utility Pole

On Wed. January 13th, at 00:32 hrs. Station 51 along with KC Medics and Trooper 4 were dispatched for an MVC with rollover at 5268 Forrest Avenue. Minutes later Command 51 with Dep. Chief Ray Morris went responding, soon after Engine 51-3 went responding with a crew of 6, while responding Kent Center advised of a single vehicle mvc with rollover. Command 51 went on location at 00:42 hrs,established Forrest Ave. Command and advised the patient was located in a van on the roadway. Upon arrival of E51-3 command had its crew to secure the vehicle and provide patient care until the arrival of A-51 soon after. Rescue 51-6 arrived soon after and assisted with clearing the roadway and setting up the LZ. The crews from both trucks assisted EMS personnel with packaging the transport to the helicopter, due to medical reasons the patient was unable to be flown and was transported to KGH. Command 51 placed the situation under control at 01:18 hrs. returning the rescue, the engine remained on scene awaiting DSP. The last unit to clear the scene was at 01:32 hrs. Units on scene: Command 51, E51-3, R51-6, A-51, KC Medics, 51 Fire Police, and DSP.
