MVC With A Door Pop

In the early evening hours of June 11th, Station 51, KM7 and Trooper 4 were all dispatched for an MVC at the intersection of Lockwood Chapel Road & Pearsons Corner Road. While units were enroute, Past Chief Fox arrived on location and advised of a two vehicle MVC with one requiring a door pop. Once 51-3 and B-51 arrived on location, crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle and assessing the involved patients. Rescue 51-6 arrived on location shortly after and preformed the required door pop for extrication. The patient was then assessed by EMS on scene and they advised that Trooper 4 would be utilized. Once the patients on scene were packaged, both Trooper 4 and B-51 began transport to area emergency departments. Chief Connors had the Lockwood Chapel Road command.
