MVC High Velocity

In the early afternoon hours of the given date, Station 51 was dispatched via 911 along with additional EMS assets for a MVC High Velocity in the 3200 block of Hartly Road. While units were enroute, Kent Center advised of a single vehicle off the roadway and into the wood with an unknown amount of occupants or injuries. Command 51 arrived shortly after and advised of a single pickup truck off the roadway and into the wood with a single patient whom was self extricated. Once Fire/EMS assets arrived on location, crews secured the vehicle while BLS began patient assessment. The scene was placed under control shortly after and all units returned to service. Chief Fox had the command.
