Vehicle Fire

Just as the July company meeting was coming to an end, Hartly's volunteers were dispatched for a vehicle fire in the 2400 block of Halltown Road. While units were enroute, Kent Center advised of a single vehicle on fire in the driveway. Once units arrived on location, the report was confirmed and crews deployed a hand line to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was knocked, command placed the scene under control and returned all units upon the arrival of DSP. Chief Read had the command.
