MVC with an Electrical Hazard and Flyout

In the evening hours of the above date, Station 51 was dispatched along with additional resources for an MVC with entrapment in the 3300 block of Sudlersville Road. 51-15 arrived on location POV and reported a single patient, negative entrapment with power lines across the vehicle. The power company was started priority 1 and units staged until the power was confirmed to be off. The patient was removed from the vehicle and assessed by EMS on scene. After assessment, it was determined that the patient required transport to a higher level of care via DSP aviation. Once the patient was transported, the scene was placed under control and units returned to service. Chief Read held the command.
